1. How did you get into your current role?
By being creative and having the willingness to risk rejection when proposing new ideas.
2. Do you have a mantra/saying/catch phrase at work?
If you are going to do it, give it your all and do it right, or else it’s not worth doing.
3. What is your favorite part of your job?
Solving problems that make people’s lives easier and more productive.
4. How do you see your job changing in one year? Five years? Ten years?
Year One – Same course, pushing out new mobile applications for our company
Year Five – Having introduced new exciting technologies that would change the way our industry performs certain work methods.
Year Ten – Being involved in cutting-edge technologies and finding ways to apply them to our work or others work.
5. What do you know now that you wish you knew on day one?
It is critical to gain experience. Without it, no amount of creativity, force or knowledge will give you the ingredients to find and solve your field’s problems. Be fearless when you see the answers.
6. What advice do you have for someone who wants to be in your role?
First, you have to have the mindset of constantly asking yourself, how can this be better? Then, believe you can find the answers if you work hard enough. But more importantly, you must take action!
7. How has using Revu impacted your career?
Revu has greatly impacted my career by providing a tool in the beginning to create better solutions. Understanding what problems Revu could solve for me and for our entire company gave me one of the first opportunities to combine my creativity, experience and vision to make sweeping changes in our organization and industry. The momentum created allowed me to build upon those first solutions and continue to bring exciting changes to our company.
